Julia has been working as a photo- and web editor at Global Reporting since January 2008. She is in charge of the constantly growing image archive and occasionally takes on photo mission. Julia has a degree in photography and cinema science and has got work experience from a photo studio.

Julia likes the challenge of matching images and text in different media. She has had several lectures about how developing countries are described in photos and media.

During her leisure time she enjoys art and photo exhibitions, practising yoga and is longing for travelling around the world.
