Global Reporting organised a communication project about solid waste management in Tegucigalpa. The work included capacity building in communication for involved stakeholders, an information campaign in two targeted areas in Tegucigalpa, a long-term strategy on public communication related to solid waste for the Tegucigalpa municipality and exchange on waste management between young people from Stockholm and Tegucigalpa.

The evaluation of the project showed very positive results. Among other things, the awareness level continued to to increase, even six month after the project has been completed. For more details, read the evalution of the project as a whole (attached).
